Ariel at a Glance

• Born and raised in Argentina, moved to California in 1997 and later to Miami in 2006. Resident of Pinecrest since 2015.
• Married to Daniela, the love of my life, for 26 years. Together, we are raising 4 wonderful children, all of which attend or attended public or private schools in Pinecrest.
• Active in the community: member of the Pinecrest Zoning Board, host of neighborhood Crime Watch block parties, Watch D.O.G.S. parent at Pinecrest Elementary, successful advocate for the installation of a pedestrian and bike crossing at the Gulliver campus.
• Bilingual Spanish (native) and English, conversational German.
• M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology, M.B.A. from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
• Builder of companies that leverage tech in pursuit of a noble mission. Former startup entrepreneur and subsequently an executive at eBay (commerce), Lyft (transportation), and Papa (companionship and support for older Americans that suffer from loneliness and isolation).
• Lover of the outdoors: I run 3 times a week (ran the Miami marathon 5 years ago), take my kayak out on Biscayne Bay with my friend Ted, bike to school with kids since 2011, will commute anywhere on my electric bike.
• Obsessed over orchids: I probably have more than 250 orchids attached to my oak trees in the yard. I get an irreplaceable joy every time I see a new flower bloom.
