Why I Care

I’m married to my wife Daniela, and together we’ve been raising our four children in Pinecrest since 2015.

We love it here. We are so happy here.

The recent Pinecrest referendum and my experiences canvassing have deepened my understanding of Pinecrest's unique character. Our enviable quality of life stems from the visionary foundation laid by our founders with the Village Charter, the dedication of past and current Council members and Mayors, the professionalism of village staff and police, and the active engagement of residents like you. This collaborative spirit and foresight have shaped Pinecrest into the community we cherish today.

As a Pinecrest resident of nine years, I feel that I’ve taken more than what I’ve given, and that it is time to shift the balance. As your Councilmember, I pledge to honor and protect our heritage and what has made Pinecrest the Pinecrest we all love.

All former Pinecrest Mayors endorsed Ariel for the Pinecrest Village Council.

Highlights of My Involvement in the Community

  • Former member of the Pinecrest Zoning Board

  • Host of Neighborhood Watch parties for our Poinsettia Estates subdivision of Pinecrest (thank you Shawn for coordinating with Captain Cruz)

  • Member of the Watch D.O.G.S. program at Pinecrest Elementary (Juli’s school)

  • Advocate for a pedestrian crossing into the Gulliver Campus on Old Cutler Road (my daughters’ school) - Project COMPLETE!

I envision a future for Pinecrest in which anyone can walk or bike safely from their home to our schools, parks, centers of worship, or anywhere in our village.
